Shipping and Processing

Most orders received before 2:00 PM CST will ship the same day, provided the product ordered is in stock. Most orders received after 2:00 PM  CST will ship the next business day. If you need an order to be shipped the same day, and it is after 2:00 PM you, can call in your order and check to see if it can still be shipped the same day. Orders are not processed or shipped on Saturday or Sunday, except by prior arrangement.  At the bottom of this page, there is a map that will help you determine the best UPS service level for your shipment.

  • All accessory (non-boat) items are shipped via UPS or USPS
  • Orders shipped using the U.S. Postal Service are not traceable, and in the case of a lost package it will take longer to resolve than UPS.
  • Priority Air Mail is used for all USPS shipments.

Out-of-Stock Products

We will ship your product as it becomes available. Usually, products ship the same day if ordered by 2:00 PM CST , or by the next business day if your order is received after this time and for orders received on Saturday, Sunday or any major holiday. However, there may be times when the product you have ordered is out-of-stock which will delay fulfilling your order. We will keep you informed via email and or telephone of any products that you have ordered that are out-of-stock and unavailable for immediate shipment. You may cancel your order at any time prior to shipping.

Returns

It happens, something doesn’t fit quite right or work the way you thought it would. No matter what the circumstances, we understand. The bottom line is that we want you to be satisfied with our products and our service.

Here are the details of the return process at Rutabaga:

- You can return products within 30 days of your purchase

- A receipt must accompany all returns or Rutabaga must be able to track the purchase through customer information

- Products you are returning must be in “new-sellable” condition (able to be put back into stock and re-sold)

- Please include a description of the problem along with your return

- Refunds will be made back to the credit card used or a Rutabaga refund check will be issued

- We reserve the right to charge a 20% restocking fee on returns of special order items

- Sales of “closeout” items are considered final and not eligible for return

- Shipping and handling cannot be reimbursed, so please be aware that if you are purchasing a product that has 'Free Shipping' our actual shipping costs will be deducted from your return refund.

- If you receive the wrong product or it's damaged, we will reimburse you for return shipping costs.
