Beauty meets performance in this all Black Willow bent shaft paddle, reinforced with a glassed blade and wrap-around Rockguard. This lightweight paddle is as strong as it is pretty. Expect it to stand up to your abuse. The 14 in the name refers to the degree of bend of the blade.Little known fact: This paddle was designed by a couple of our smart guys, who sent hand-carved iterations back and forth between Bending Branches and Rutabaga. The result is one of our favorite paddles.

Extremely light and very beautiful 
My canoe is my daily (and only) transportation. That being said, I put a lot of time into finding the right paddle and this is certainly it. Whether charging through whitecaps or leisurely enjoying still waters, this paddle is a pleasure to use.
Perfect for the BWCAW
The Rockgard and fiberglassed blade on this beauty gives me the durability I need for long trips in the BWCAW.
I also love the dark wood and light weight.
