We're currently looking for the right people for several of our seasonal positions:
Sales Staff
If you have a love for the outdoors -- especially Kayaking and Canoeing, Stand Up Paddling, hiking, camping, fishing and other outdoor recreation, and you enjoy interacting with customers -- both advanced and beginning -- then you might be exactly who we are looking for.
The first step is to download and complete the application document and the "Official Baga Test" and return it to Scott Hamstra via fax at (608) 223-9303 or drop off the application in person to Scott Hamstra at our store in Monona, WI.
We accept applications year round for seasonal sales positions. Our usual season runs from February to August.
We are looking for a seasonal Service Technician to repair and service canoes and kayaks. Ideal candidates will be demonstrate experience with fiberglass/Kevlar/carbon composite repair as well as installation of gunwales, rudders, and other boat accessories. Experience with plastic welding and adhesives are a plus. Applicants must have flexible schedules and be available 8 to 16 hours per week.

Rutabaga is always seeking enthusiastic, capable individuals to lead summer youth courses. If you have experience working with youth, a passion for the outdoors, and like the idea of spending your day working outside in a boat, then please feel free to send your resume for future consideration.
