A great choice for an all-around canoe.

John Reinders | | Posted: Oct 5, 2009 The Spirit II from Wenonah is an incredibly versitile boat. We use them as rentals and they do a great job for the lakes around Madison. I can also attest to their tripping ability as I just took an overnight trip down the Wisconsin River with my wife and our 3 sons and we were able to fit everyone (and everything) into the boat. For a do-everything boat the Spirit II in Royalex is hard to beat! |

Marit Haug | | Posted: Aug 22, 2006 This craft turns on a dime, which is amazing for it size! The Spirit II also tracks well, is very fast for it’s size, and has a lot of space for loved ones, or gear. This is a great all around family canoe. |

Jim Pippitt | | Posted: Apr 1, 2002 Ok, so I'm a big guy. I may like the lines of some of the smaller canoes, and I may get excited that someone else thinks they're cool, but ol' utilitarian me just can't get fired up about something that can't float one of my legs, let alone the whole Jimbo. I tend to get self-select the freighter class of canoe. Thankfully there's the Spirit II. It isn't a barge. It has class. It handles beautifully, looks sharp, goes anywhere. Took one into the BWCA and couldn't have asked for more. Decent speed, wonderful seaworthiness. It grew and grew on me. The new wood gunwales add to the package. Fantastic boat. |
