Staff Reviews - Eagle's Nest Hammock
Portable hammock, very durable and lightweight

What can I say about this hammock that doesnt start with the word AAAHHHH ?? Nothing. Something tells me that if you look up the word "relaxation" in the dictionary, you'll find a picture of this hammock. You can hang it virtually anywhere and in less than 2 minutes. I have the two person, which is capable of holding 400 pounds or you can just use it yourself and wrap yourself up like a cocoon and nap the afternoon away (thats what I do!) It's light enough to toss into a backpack and if you accessorize with the rain fly, you no longer have to search for a level piece of ground to set up a tent. It's a perfect addition to any camping or hiking gear with it's lightweight, quick dry material. Enjoy your afternoon naps in the sun alot more with an ENO (Eagles Nest Outfitters) hammock!

Hanging in my garage is an old 10-liter dry bag. Stuffed inside the bag is my hammock and associated gear, almost everything I need for a great night’s sleep in the woods. I find myself using the Eagle’s Nest Outfitter’s Hammock more and more (and I sleep better, too!) The ENO hammock comes in single or double (mine is a single) and can be coupled with ENO’s proprietary “Slap Straps” attachment system to make finding a good sleeping spot pretty darned simple. I use a sleeping bag pad in my hammock to spread out the sides and make it a little less cocoon-like and I’ve found that a light fleece blanket or sleeping bag liner is all that I need for covers Spring thru Fall. Eagle’s Nest also supplies rain-flys and bug nets to make your wilderness trip or backyard adventure all the more comfortable. This is a great product at a great price. It is so good that my wife and I now give out Eagle’s Nest Hammocks as wedding presents to our outdoor-loving friends.

I own a double. The sling straps are easier to put up and take down, with less wear and tear on trees thanks to the nylon webbing. The double comfortably holds two. Buyer beware, napping may occur.

This hammock is great! Not only is it great for camping due to its compactibility and easy hang up, but string it up on your porch and enjoy an afternoon nap.

Love it, love it, love it, love it . . . love it! My ENO Double Nest is my favorite place to nap, read and cuddle. This hammock has quick and easy set up and is easily one of my favorite pieces of 'luxury' gear.

I bought a hand-woven hammock when I was in Ecuador a couple of years ago and love it - it's soft and holds me in well without folding me in half. I thought there was no match to this hammock until I sat in an ENO hammock. What is so nice about these hammocks is that they are very spacious and also dry out very quickly after a rain. It matches my hand-made hammock sit-for-sit and you don't have to go the Ecuador to get it! Looking for something comfy to lie in while sipping lemonades this summer? Look no further than this hammock.

In my backyard, at a rest stop during a long drive, at a friends picnic, at the waters edge, deep in the forest... these are the places where an Eagle's Nest hammock is at home. It also happens to be a partial list of where I've used mine. (Actually I own 2). Begin creating your own list of perfect places to relax in a hammock by Eagle’s Nest. The way they're built, you'll be enjoying yours for many many years.

This was another of the "gee-whiz" for this years Boundary Waters trip. My family had just gotten used to the old-fashioned mesh style hammock that I had introduced in the last few years. Now the Eagle's Nest has raised the bar for camping comfort. Short of coming to blows, there was a constant battle for occupancy of the Hammock this year. The Eagle's Nest products are simply more comfortable then any other hammock I have tried. It was simple to hang and easy on the tree's due to the strap system. The only question now is how many to bring next year.

As nice as beds are, they don't rock you to sleep the way a nice hammock will. These Eagles Nest hammocks are the ideal way to spend a summer afternoon in the shade. They would also work really well as an alternative way to camp--I saw several people in the Cloud Peak Wilderness doing the minimalist thing with only hammocks and tarps as shelter. They seemed happy and their packs were small. The secret to hammock sleeping is simple, but not well known, so I will share it here with you. To sleep well you must lie (lay?) diagonally across the hammock. Yes, you heard me, diagonally. I spent a month in the Yukatan peninsula in Mexico and slept in a hammock the whole time. Trust me. These hammocks are nylon with little clips on the end so they are easy to set up and take down. Try one out in our shop...you'll like them.

I can't say enough about this hammock. It's small, hooks on your belt, lightweight, comes in great colors, and is very comfortable. You can wrap yourself up in it and hide from the bugs while napping. Makes an awesome gift for anyone who can find 2 trees about 6-8 ft apart.
