An elegant and nimble boat that dances on the water.

John Manos | | Posted: Nov 11, 2009 I can't say anything bad about this hull. I use this boat for fishing - plenty of room and very stable. It also could be paddled single very easily. |

Troy Bollinger | | Posted: This boat was easy to paddle and efficient through fairly windy water. Easy to turn and easy handle, what more could you want in a boat? Lots of room for gear? Yep, there's that too! |

Stacey Linzmeier | | Posted: The pal is a great boat to do some touring in. The pal handled pretty nicely, but beware of strong wind it will take ya! It's not to heavy for 2 people, and very stable. |

Andy Grevstad | | Posted: Jul 28, 2008 To start with, I really like all the Nova Craft boats. They are a real pleasure to paddle through the water, with just the right amount of rocker to make them easy to maneuver but still track straight.
The Pal is really cool because it's a nice size tandem that can be soloed as well. As with all the longer Royalex boats, it will flex a bit in the water, especially as a tandem. If you don't like that, consider the Kev-Spec Pal instead, it's super stiff. |

Colin Erskine | | Posted: Oct 8, 2007 What a wonderfully stable boat. I paddled this on our Rutabaga retreat on a windy, rough day with my girlfriend. The handling is great and I didn’t feel like I was being blown around with the Royalex Lite material. This boat is so stable that I could stand up and paddle with confidence. It is maneuverable and the Royalex Lite lay-up is incredibly durable. I would highly recommend this boat to anyone wanting to start out canoeing, or just wanting to get out and paddle. |
