One tough tandem kayak for true big water experiences.

Not many folks need a tandem touring kayak. Those that do, definitely should consider the Unity. Unlike many other tandem kayaks on the market, the words: freighter, bathtub, barge, and ugh!!! don't apply to this boat. The Unity is sleek and fast. The cockpits are placed far apart enough for independent paddling cadences and Current designs is using a unique construction that makes this boat both tough enough for Outfitters, but light enough for mere mortals to lift. Having lifted a fair number of tandem kayaks, I can tell you from personal experience, that anything less than 90lbs is quite light. Perfect for big water and big trips, the Unity is a favorite of mine. |
