It was a dark and stormy night... well it was a sunny cold early April day with a steady wind, but it was great to get out and paddle this boat.
The Easky has a really roomy cockpit so it would probably be a boat more appropriate for those larger than me (5'7" 155 pounds) but I still had a fairly easy paddle with a lot of control in a fair wind.
Two things I love about this boat: acceleration and foot brace adjustability. Dig a paddle blade in and this boat moves. Since this was my first test paddle I was eager to get out on the water and forgot to do a dry run, so having easily adjustable foot braces was awesome!
