The use of video in learning is a powerful tool - the camera doesn't lie! More importantly, the ability to actually see what you are doing, along with the feedback provided by the instructor, is powerful reinforcement. In this class, you have the rare opportunity to have your paddle stokes filmed and analyzed by ACA Instructor Trainer, John Browning. After a brief warm-up, participants will model their strokes for the camera. Class participants will view the video and receive feedback, then return to the water to put the feedback into practice, followed by a second filming. This second video will also be viewed and feedback provided to wind up the class.
Video has been used in ACA Instructor Development Workshops, and participants find it to be one of the most beneficial activities of the course. Really, this is one of the most effective ways to improve your strokes - and it's fun, too!
This session is limited to 12 participants.
