I've been searching for some time for a pair of winter paddling gloves, and finally found these mittens. I much prefer the mitten over the glove--fewer seams to leak--and glued seams rather than sewn--also less leakage. Very comfortable grip on the paddle--I use a Greenland. Very secure fit, so no bagging on the palm. The only downside to these gloves (hence a 3 and not a 5-star review) is that there are glue bumps on the inside seams--it's uncomfortable and can rub your skin a bit raw.

Let me just say I have the coldest hands on Earth (just ask my boyfriend), so I am always trying new products to keep them warm. These mitts are the best Fall/Winter paddling hand protection I have found. While these are Neoprene (which keep you warm when wet) it takes a lot of water to get these soaking wet. So they do a great job of keeping you dry, as well as warm when wet. They are very stretchy Neoprene, so i don't feel like they hinder my dexterity too much. Finally let me just say nose wiper, best idea ever.
