Our website, rutabaga.com, is a virtual extension of Rutabaga, the Paddlesport Shop. We're located in Monona, Wisconsin and we've been in business for more than 25 years.
Our mission is simple, we sell gear that makes it easy for people to enjoy paddling, be it a canoe or a kayak, flatwater, whitewater, the local pond or Lake Superior. We do it in an ethical, professional, and sometimes unorthodox manner. We believe in giving excellent service, selection, education, and value to each and every customer.
We don't sell boats, we sell time on the water.

We're open Memorial Day and Labor Day from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
We are open on the 4th of July from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
We're closed Christmas Day, New Years Day, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving, and the Wednesday before Canoecopia thru the following Wednesday.
