A touring boat with excellent stability and perormance. The Gulfstream represents a union of effort between North America and Europe, through the collaboration of designers from both continents. World famous designer Derek Hutchinson teamed up with Current Designs designer Brian Henry to develop this majestic kayak. The Gulfstream is highly maneuverable and appeals to those who want to make their kayak dance with a tilt of the boat and a stroke of the paddle. A retractable skeg enhances tracking on longer trips and in adverse conditions. The Gulfstream's rubber forward and stern hatches give a completely waterproof seal. The forward hatch is 9-1/2" diameter, and the oval stern hatch is 11" x 16-1/2". These convenient hatches provide ample space for storing gear. The unique day hatch is 7-3/4" diameter and is within arm's reach of the paddler. A third bulkhead behind the day hatch makes this compartment self-contained.
