NRS (used to be Northwest River Supply) mades a lot of great gear for paddlers, river runners, rafters, and people who are more comfortable in muddy sandals than wingtips (i.e., everyone). We love their paddling gear, and while we have never sold their rafts since we don't live in raft country, we were excited when they started making inflatable kayaks and stand-up boards.

The STAR line consists of a family of durable inflatable craft that can paddle well, store easily, and last forever (if you paddle like a reasonable person). We love that NRS is 100% employee owned, so we support them not just for the gear but for the ethos.
