Prerequisites: Experienced paddlers, comfortable paddling 3-4 miles/hour in rough water conditions.
Begin at Rowleys Bay and paddle the Tip of the Door, all the way to Garrett Bay where you will be picked up and returned to the Symposium headquarters. Along the way enjoy the bluffs, sea caves, beaches and views of many islands. This trip covers ~ 14 miles.
This all-day adventure is designed for the Intermediate to Advanced paddler who wants to refine skills in a real-world environment. While underway, this tour will incorporate rescue scenarios, towing skills, boat control and more. If you're interested in BCU 3 Star Assessment in the future, this class will help you prepare.
Please pick-up a box lunch from Grandma's Bakery or plan to pack a lunch - we will not return to the symposium site for our lunch break.
Please note that this is an all day class - register for both the morning and afternoon segments.
