The key to boat control is a solid connection between the paddler and the kayak. There is a big the difference between merely sitting in the cockpit and wearing your boat. The best way to get this perfect fit is to outfit your kayak yourself.

In this hands-on workshop you'll learn how to customize your kayak for precise fit. We'll select one participant's boat to work on together and learn how to measure, cut and attach foam padding at key locations. You'll leave with the knowledge to custom fit your own boat for increased performance.

Participants may have the opportunity to work on their personal boats if time permits. Materials will be available for an additional fee.
