Rutabaga Boat Storage at Olbrich Park

Rutabaga now offers personal boat storage outdoors! Make your summer paddling a breeze by storing your canoe, kayak or stand-up paddleboard at Olbrich Park Boat Rentals!

All storage spots are rented through Rutabaga Paddlesports.

All storage racks are outdoors and uncovered.

Storage Period: Begins April 1, 2019 and ends March 31, 2020

Cost: $100 (plus tax)

How to obtain a storage rack spot for your canoe, kayak, or stand-up paddleboard:
1.   Fill out a Rental Agreement and purchase a rental spot in person at Rutabaga Paddlesports.

Hours:           Mon-Fri 10am-6pm, Sat 10am-5pm, Sun 12pm-5pm
2.   Place the permit sticker on the right side on the stern (back) of your watercraft.
3.   Place your watercraft in your assigned space on the boat storage rack at Olbrich Park Boat Rentals.

Watercraft storage rack rules:
1.   Watercraft must not exceed 80 pounds, 18' in length, 42" in width or 24" in height.
2.   Items stored in the storage area are limited to watercraft only. No unauthorized personal property is to be stored on the premises.
3.   Only one watercraft is allowed in each space.
4.   Premises are to be left in original condition upon termination of permit period.
5.   Permit must be visible at all times.
6.   Watercraft must be fully contained within the designated space.
7.   Rutabaga Staff reserves the right to cut any lock and remove any watercraft, under any condition it deems necessary for the function of the boat storage program.
8.   Watercraft must be secured to the boat storage rack. Owner accepts all liability for theft or damage to their property.
9.   Watercraft must be removed by March 31 unless renewing for the following year.
10.   Renewals for the following year should be requested by February 1. After that date space will be available on a first come first serve basis.
