Simple, but it’s our written policy when it comes to customer service. We always try to do what’s right.
-Products can be returned within 30 days of purchase.
-A receipt must accompany all returns, or Rutabaga must be able to track the purchase through your customer purchase history.
-Include a description of the reason for your return. The more detail, the better.
-Returned products, including packaging, must be in new, sellable condition.
-Rutabaga Paddlesports reserves the right to charge a 20% restocking fee for returned products missing their original packaging.
-Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment used for the purchase.
-Refunds may take up to 72 hours to be processed once the item is received.
-If you are shipped an incorrect or damaged product with your order, you will be reimbursed for any return shipping costs incurred. Return shipping costs for other reasons are the customer’s responsibility.

-Return shipping labels may be sent electronically or with the correct product when it is shipped.

-Special orders and Custom orders are final and not eligible for return.
-Closeout, clearance, and yellow-tagged items are final and not eligible for return.
-Boats can be returned within 30 days of purchase.
-Boats must be in new condition to receive a full refund.
-A Rutabaga staff member must see the boat in person before a boat return is approved, as the boat must be physically inspected to determine the refund amount.
-If the boat has been used and there are superficial scratches, etc. some reasonable value will be deducted from the refund amount.
