Help new kayakers develop the basic skills they need to be safe on the water! The ACA Level 2: Essentials of Kayak Touring certification qualifies you to teach introductory kayak skills in a variety of kayaks (sea, recreational, sit-on-top) in a protected and calm water location. A great way for camp waterfront staff to add kayaking to their programs, this certification is also appropriate for instructors who limit their teaching to inland lakes. John Browning, Instructor Trainer.

The 2022 ICW will meet at Rock Lake, in Lake Mills WI. Note that this program will not be meeting at Rutabaga's retail location in Monona WI.

Please note that all participants must agree to abide by Rutabaga's COVID safety protocols. In addition, vaccination from COVID-19 is strongly recommended in order for students to safely and most fully participate in the class.
