Trip - Sugar River

skill level:   open to all
ages:   adult
price:   $75.00

Let’s explore the Sugar River! This is a quiet winding river that flows through heavily wooded forests in southern Wisconsin with maple, ash, willow, basswood and oak tree forests lining the river banks. You will develop your boat maneuvering skills with theriver’s twists and turns. We’ll have a great chance to see deer grazing nearby and trout sunning themselves beneath us!

Canoes and kayaks are welcome.

We'll meet at Rutabaga Paddlesports, caravan to the put-in, run a shuttle and launch for a day of paddling enjoyment.

Canoe or recreational kayak and corresponding equipment are included in the price but you are welcome to bring your own boat. We will be in touch in advance of the trip to ask which type of boat you would like for the trip.

Please note:
Trip participant minimum is 4 so the trip may be cancelled if we don't reach our minimum.
