Are you excited about getting back in your boat? But, maybe a little nervous because it seems like a long time since you last paddled and you haven’t had the time/energy/resources to do as much as you wanted to stay in shape? Maybe you just want to meet some new friends to paddle with… Whatever your reason, come join us on Wednesday evening for fitness and fun! We will do all types of stretching and movement exercises and maybe even a few games, all designed to help you get in shape before you get on the water and hopefully prevent any injuries that might keep you from enjoying a full season of paddling! This class is for anyone! No age or fitness limits! Pre-registration is helpful, but not required. There is no fee to attend Fitness for Paddlers, but we would appreciate a donation to the Josh Kestleman fund to help kids get on the water. You can donate in cash the day of the event, or online Josh Kestleman Scholarship Fund Class will meet at Rutabaga. The class will be taught by Mary Langlie, longtime Rutabaga Instructor, Personal Trainer, Exercise Physiologist and Paddling Guide. Wear comfortable clothes and join us every Wednesday from 5:30-6:15 PM starting Wednesday March 15. Hope to see you there! |
