If so, find your way to our navigation clinic where we will cover off the tips and tricks to help keep from getting misplaced. This hands-on and practical clinic will cover the basics of reading and working with maps and charts, using a compass and what to do when things go wrong.
David Johnston is a visiting instructor from Peterborough, Ontario. He has been introducing people to the sport of sea kayaking for the past 23 years. He is a senior instructor trainer and kayak guide with paddle Canada and has taught for several paddling schools in Ontario.
This clinic is open to people of all skill levels who want to get better at navigation either by canoe or kayak.
