There's no doubt that in person is way better than virtual. Not surprisingly, we feel the same about canoeing. Canoe videos are fun to watch; they're way better than Seinfeld reruns, but they're a poor substitute for the real thing. There's just no comparison to spending time of the water or getting together in person. There's also no comparison to being surrounded by thousands of like-minded paddlers reliving old trips and dreaming of new ones. Heck, maybe Jerry Vandiver will even have a new CD for us! bookmark
