This combined entry includes the Willamette Water Trail, with over 200 miles of river ready for canoes and kayaks year round. The signature event, Paddle Oregon, stands alone in offering a large group paddle over 4 days offering a very sweet river experience in Oregon, now in its 23rd year. Explore a very accessible Western river that works for canoeist and kayakers of nearly all experience levels. You can do a self supported trip for many days, or take part in the unique Paddle Oregon annual event. Either way, the Willamette River is a fantastic paddling destination. www.willamettewatertrail.org, www.paddleoregon.org. Willamette Riverkeeper, an environmental organization that works to protect and restore the Willamette River's water quality and habitat, conducts Paddle Oregon, and is the main entity supporting the Willamette Water Trail.
