It's coming...
50 degrees today, and the ice on the lake behind the shop is melting. The snowpaddlers will be melted soon, but we'll keep the Packer's hat! We bet you're feeling it too. The rivers are up and a few of us are getting out paddling (dressed safely, of course).

Darren says the floor plan is fully baked and we are taking exhibitors for a waiting list. If you're an outfitter or have other paddle-related goods or services and want to get on the waiting list, contact Darren at darrenb@rutabaga.com.

The speaker schedule (as well as the entire show guide is available online! Just go to the drop down and select show guide. The Canoecopia Show Guide was printed last week and many of you have already received it. If not, Be patient, it'll be in your mailbox soon, it might take a bit to get to you, especially if you're in a rural area.

So what is Canoecopia?

Canoecopia is the largest paddlesports consumer event in the world. The Alliant Energy Center Exposition Hall is more than 250,000 square feet, and the main hall contains more than 100,000 square feet of kayaks, canoes, stand up paddleboards, outdoor equipment and clothing, with the best selection of the season, make Canoecopia a "must go" place for gear!

With over 100 presentations and clinics, Canoecopia is also an educational event where you can learn about specific gear for your style of paddling, develop skills to get you where you want to go, and discover some of the many places to paddle, both near and far. If you're interested in experiencing life on the water, Canoecopia is the best place to spend the weekend!
