Emergency Room Procedures in the Wilderness
Live Q&A Only - Sat 11:00am-12:00pm

What do you do when calling 911 is not an option and someone is ill or hurt? Or, even if you could call 911, help is hours or even days away? What can you do about anaphylactic shock, hemorrhage, broken bones, dislocated shoulders, puncture wounds? This presentation serves both as an introduction, and as an encouragement to take a wilderness medicine course (or serves as a great review if you already have).

 Paddling the Apostle Islands
Pre-recorded - Sun 1:00pm-2:00pm

The Apostle Islands are one of the best places in the world to sea kayak! This presentation will review some of the history and wonderful wilderness landscapes, with a focus on what it takes to be safe and prepared to paddle in this special National Lakeshore Park.
