||Kevin Ayers' passion for the outdoors started with fishing and camping with grandpa. He followed both of his sons through the BSA Scouting Program. To help their troop and other units, Kevin attended the Leave No Trace Master Educator Course. He lives for weekend backcountry trips to vacations in BWCA. Kevin believes that most people want to do the right thing and preserve the backcountry, but often forget about the impact that so many visitors make over time.
Leave No Trace teaches low impact camping and wilderness travel. We will learn about the 7 Principles of "Leave No Trace." The first principle, "Plan Ahead and Prepare," provides the base for every backcountry experience.
We talk about skills and gear needed to leave little or no footprint while enjoying your trek. We will end with my favorite,
"How To Poop In The Woods." With simple steps and proven easy to use pooping positions.
