  Jeff Bach

Jeff started the water part of his life guiding trips in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area back in the day. That proved to be the gateway drug for guiding on the Rogue and Deschutes rivers in Oregon and from there onto the world class waters of the Main and Middle Fork of the Salmon River in Idaho. Today, the water is the simple backyard pleasures of the Yahara river and Lake Kegonsa, made every bit as pleasant as the memory waters with the addition of hand built paddles and boats.

 Building Your Own Custom Paddle
Atrium - upstairs Sat 1:00pm-4:00pm
Any kind of paddle is better than nothing, but your own custom wood piece puts paddling over the top. Building your own paddle is within reach of anyone that can fog a mirror. Basic skills and tools, some wood, and a bit of fiberglass and epoxy are all it takes to build a paddle. Handle options, adding a rock guard, and some blade choices are part of this show-n-share, along with covering the step by step path to building your own paddle.

This presentation is part of the Drop-In Clinics happening from 1:00-4:00 on Saturday in the Atrium.
