  Craig Charles

Craig Charles is the author of Exploring Door County and Exploring Superior Country, both outdoor guidebooks. He's also the former co-owner of Life Tools , a legendary Green Bay outdoor shop frequented by a colorful cadre of backcountry dirt bags and outdoor adventure addicts. Now a retired high school teacher, Craig spends his days pulling a paddle or stumbling down trails on the road to the next wild place where the crawdads still sing.

Planes, Trains, Canoes and Wabakimi's Canadian Wilderness
Algonquin - main floor Sat 1:30pm-2:15pm
Caribou - upstairs Sat 4:30pm-5:15pm
Woodland Caribou still roam the lakes and forests of Ontario's Wabakimi Provincial Park where wild river's run free and wolves outnumber paddlers. Join Craig Charles for slides and conversation as he boards a bush train in search of wilderness walleyes in the Canadian backcountry north of Thunder Bay. Board a passenger train from the tiny town of Armstrong that carries canoes, packs, and paddlers deep into the Canadian bush for a world class fishing trip to a backcountry camp complete with running water, legendary lake trout, and world class walleyes. A sea plane provides the exit ticket from this wilderness hideaway where the water runs cold and fishing runs hot!
