In the 9th Century the bones of St James were discovered in Spain. Ever since then thousands of people have hiked to Santiago de Compostela to pay homage to the Saint. Over 400,000 people made the pilgrimage in 2022 including Tman. Nowadays many people do it as a recreational hike and many still do it as a religious pilgrimage. It's easier than backpacking because you stay at Albergues (dormitories) every night and eat at cafes. So, you don't need to carry a tent or cooking gear. Spain has a rich history, is fairly inexpensive and has lots of wine. And you can get all the gear you need for the trip right here at Canoecopia. Tman will provide insights and tips about this trip of a lifetime.
