Elijah Greiner
Elijah was born and raised in Chicago’s South Loop. Welcomed into the outdoor-recreation-world through Scouting and the Sewanee Outing Program, he has worked as an outdoor professional in Minnesota, Tennessee, Vermont, and New Mexico (Including two summers and two winters in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area). In addition to canoeing, Elijah loves distance running, reading, writing, cartooning, storytelling, deep ecology, americana mythology, and making YouTube videos with his brother Colin.

Josh Lambert
Josh grew up in Olmsted Falls, Ohio, just 20 minutes outside of Cleveland. Always outside, he quickly developed a love for nature by catching frogs in the pond, walking the river behind his home, and visiting his mom who worked at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. He has worked three summers and three winters guiding in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Between seasons there, he attended Cleveland State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences. Eager to explore and understand the world around him, he is always seeking the next adventure.

Jackie McDougall
Jackie hails from a small town in Northern Connecticut called East Granby, about 20 minutes from Massachusetts. Throughout the past years, Jackie has educated guests at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, led canoe expeditions into the Boundary Waters, graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a Biology degree, built and maintained trails for the Southeast Conservation Corps and Philmont Scout Ranch, and guided dog sled treks in the frigid Superior National Forest’s winter. In addition to her love for the outdoors and spending time in the wilderness, Jackie is passionate about music, and was a Tuba player in her college’s Marching Band, the UMMB.

Chrissy Turk
Chrissy was born and raised in sunny South Florida. She is a graduate of Lees-McRae College studying Outdoor Recreation Management for four years in the Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina. She spent four summers and three winters in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness leading wilderness expeditions traveling by canoe, cross-country ski, and dogsled. Chrissy also facilitated whitewater paddling, backpacking, rock climbing, farming, and forest programming in New England. Chrissy is continually searching for new ways to enjoy and grow in appreciation for the outdoors!

Amos Kolodji
Amos was born in Bob Dylan's hometown to two old canoe guides who took him on many trips in the Boundary Waters and the Quetico provincial park. As he grew up he got involved in the Boy Scouts and found an appreciation for all sorts of outdoor travel. Amos Majored in Mechanical engineering at the University of Minnesota Duluth where he spent weekends volunteering with the UMD Outdoor Program leading trips and teaching spoon carving classes.  How to Plan a Summer-Long Trip (in Six Months)
Killarney - Clarion Hotel Sat 10:30am-11:15am
Voyageur - Clarion Hotel Sat 2:30pm-3:15pm
Learn how to plan a 12-week trip in only six months. The Vagabond Voyageurs did just that. Before their 84-day, 1200-mile Canadian tour last summer, none of these six friends had done a canoe trip longer than 14 days. Frequent collaboration through the winter and spring turned a dream trip into a reality. The Far North calls! Will you push the adventure back another summer, or answer the call now?
