Marcy West currently serves as the Landscape Initiatives Advisor for the Natural Resources Foundation of Wisconsin. For twenty-four years she served as the Executive Director for the Kickapoo Valley Reserve in La Farge, Wisconsin which protects nearly 20 river miles of the beloved river and 8,600 acres of an ecological gem. Marcy also served on the Natural Resources Board which sets policy for the Wisconsin DNR and developed a better understanding of resource issues throughout the state. Living and working in the Kickapoo Valley and now focusing on NRF Landscape Initiatives for the Driftless and Kettle Moraine regions provides her with plenty of opportunity to visit her favorite water bodies with her beloved Northstar ADK canoe named, Ruby. |
