Evan Sirianni is a second-year graduate student at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. He studies native, non-game fish species in the Wisconsin Driftless area to help support more holistic and ecosystem-minded fisheries management. Evan earned his BS in Environmental Science, at UW River Falls, working in fisheries and environmental science, and them then moved up to Hayward, Wisconsin to work as a fisheries technician. His thesis work identifies connections and patterns of these understudied fishes and the ecosystem in which they live. |
